The screening of the Norwegian film, "Elling," was held at the clubhouse up the creek. All agreed it was as billed............"an uplifting triumph of the human spirit." It had everything a good story should have and more, ---- a madman or two, a miracle, a road trip in a beautiful old Buick, true love, and the discovery of a poetic soul. ahhhh...... First place in wonderful film is still held by "Under the Sun." English chick flick recommendations-----"Over the Hill," and "Shirley Valentine."
It was deemed the night to initiate the new club stone Goddess Goblets. Do note that the extra goblets were for the tribal members present in spirit. When I said that they were for Paula and Linda tonight............. Madelyn quietly asked, "are they here?" "Of course............but don't worry, none of us can see them either."
